Leo Ford

Leo Ford founded Just Journey to give the people of West Bridgford and the surrounding area a different choice for their travel arrangements.

My travel experience started much later in life.  As a child, my summer holiday experience was limited to family holidays to the Great British seaside resorts of Sutton on Sea, and Cornwall.  So, you can imagine my reaction when I landed in Beijing, China on the first day of my travels!  The travel bug infected my soul and from that day forward travel has not only become my passion, but my life.

After completing my year long journey, which included much of Asia, Australasia, a jaunt in Fiji (a definite highlight) and taking the train across the USA, I returned home and got a job with a high-street travel agency.  The next 5 years or so flew by, and I made the decision to do a stint in the IT industry…. The less said about that the better!

Returning to the travel industry, I joined a company who specialised in North America travel.  After a while I became frustrated by the industry’s approach to not putting the customer first, and decided that by keeping the overheads low, the quality of service high, perhaps I can do this better myself.  So here I am, we have an office in central West Bridgford, clients are coming through the doors, and it works!

All I want to do is inspire, create and offer great value holidays to my customers.  If they come back and tell me they had a great time on the trip, that is all the satisfaction I need.
